My name is Bryan and my life has been shaped by resilience and a desire to help others. I used to work in a job with no path for growth. This is a common problem for the youth of Ecuador right now. Late one night while walking home after a work shift, I was mugged and seriously injured. I nearly lost my right eye. The recovery was difficult, and I ended up losing my job, but during this challenging time, I discovered a new purpose.
I realized that I could use my language skills and knowledge of the Ecuadorian economy to assist others, especially those new to Ecuador and who struggle with language barriers. It all started when an expat friend asked me to help him purchase a generator because of Ecuador’s challenging power outages.
He told me that everywhere he looked was out and he could not find any with his specific requirements. Within 2 days, I found the generator he wanted and ended up saving him $200 by shopping around. He was so happy that he paid me a small tip. That moment made me realize that I could make a real difference by helping others navigate challenges, especially expats trying to adjust to life in a new place.
Helping others not only gives me a sense of fulfillment but also provides a way for me to support my family and build a better future. I believe in the power of community and using my experiences to bring value to those who need it most.

I went to Bryan for help finding a generator here in Loja. I looked everywhere I could think, but could not find anything in stock, and what they could order was either too large, or made in China, which I did not want. Within 2 days, he helped me locate exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price. I was so impressed, that when he asked about helping other expats do the same think, I encouraged him and decided I would help any way I could.
